Looking for 28mm historical miniature figures? This blog is a database of manufacturers showing who makes what. I am also adding photos showing figures from different makers side by side. The 'Directory' tab has a list of manufacturers showing what ranges they make and a link to their website. The other tabs list what figures are available for that period.
Directory Of 28mm Manufacturers
The following is a list of all the manufacturers of 28mm figures that I can find. Some are listed as 25mm but may still be compatible! If you make 28mm figures and are not on the list let me know and I will add you. Send me a couple of samples and I will add some comparison photos as well!

I have a fairly extensive French range, which will be expanding in March with the launch of a new Kickstarter.
I also have the Most extensive range of Hungarian WW2 vehicles in this scale.
Cheers,

https://www.animation-figurine-decor.com/listing-28-mm-miniatures-manufacturers-wargame-miniature/?lang=en
I hope you will find it useful ;),
Have a good day.
Very useful. Thanks for your patient work.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect list. Brilliant job mate. The only one I think that you may have left out is Asymmetric Wargames but I think that’s about it. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteInfamous JT has just released a new 28mm Polish resistance range too. They're amazing.
DeleteBohemian Miniatures make a nice Slovak ww2 range too.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are listed as Horcata Miniatures. The Slovak range is billed as '1938' by the manufacturer so I have listed them on the '20th Century' tab!
DeleteSo has Horcata changed their name to Bohemian Miniatures? Does anyone have any information on this?
At one time there was a French company, Medieval and Ren 28s. But I don't recall their name. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteRenegade Miniatures is no longer selling.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post. I thought I had already referenced all the sellers but found here plenty of new possibilities. Thanks for putting all this info together.
ReplyDeleteGreat directory but requires some needed updates, starting with Renegade Miniatures - no longer in existance.
ReplyDeleteI would like to ADD Thistle & Rose 28mm Vendel Ancients (Greeks, Macedonians, Persians and Classical Indians) and Elizabethan/Border Reiver lines. We can be found on Facebook at present.

ReplyDeleteI hope I‘m not too late. I found a picture of a seemingly defunct company called ‚Companion Games‘. And I‘m in love with their French Line Infantry 1809/ Spain which wear the habit veste and a nice variety of ‚civilian‘ headdresses. Similar to the Perry’s 40mm miniatures. Do you know by chance what happened with this particular range?
